General information

In Schönfeld - a beautiful high valley - at an altitude of 1700 m lies our small self-catering hut. Surrounded by the Nock mountains, nestled in the tri-border area of Salzburg, Styria, and Carinthia. Lake Millstatt in Carinthia is about 40 km away from the hut. In summer, it is the starting point for many beautiful hiking and biking tours. Several managed huts invite you to take a break. Away from the large ski resorts, you will find in Schönfeld a small but fine natural snow paradise, which invites you to alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowshoe hiking, or a nice winter walk.
One of the most beautiful and especially snow-secure high cross-country skiing trails of Lungau passes by our hut. Accessible by car in summer, in winter the hut can be reached after a 400-500 m walk along the cross-country skiing trail. The hut is equipped with solar light (no electrical appliances) and with a pit toilet (no flushing toilet, no shower).

Unsere kleine, aber feine Davidhütte besteht aus einer gemütlichen Wohnstube mit Holzofen, Eckbank und Schlafsofa. Vom Vorraum gelangt man über eine Leiterstiege ins Obergeschoß zum Matratzenlager. Maximale Ausstattung für 6 Personen (Größe: 50 m²)
