Treat yourself to a true pampering at the Panoramagasthof Steiner. Our kitchens are renowned for their delicious traditional dishes - recognised for the best of Austrian hospitality. Member of the BÖG Association.
Our guests dine à la carte from our extensive menu.

Our inn lies on the outskirts of Mariapfarr, on a southerly hillside with magnificent panoramic views of the Lungau mountains. 5-minute walk from the town centre. Cosy family atmosphere with a large sunny terrace where, in nice weather, we prepare grill specialities on a charcoal grill, as well as offering our guests a big salad buffet every day with garden-fresh ingredients.

New sauna facility with Finnish sauna and herbal steam sauna - steam bath, a variety of showers for Kneipp-style therapy, sunny quiet room with health-promoting loungers, along with a sheltered fresh-air room with sauna benches.

General information

The Panoramagasthof Steiner is located a little way from the centre of Mariapfarr on the road to Göriach. If you come from the direction of Tamsweg, about 200m beyond the "Willkommen in Mariapfarr" sign (a wooden sign) you will reach an intersection. Take a right (before the post office), after another 200m heading gently uphill, you will see the sign for the village of "Örmoos", immediately before which you will turn right - at which point you should already be able to see our house!

Coming from St. Michael (from the A10 Tauern Autobahn) or Obertauern - head towards Mauterndorf, first driving through the town of Mariapfarr, until you see the ADEG supermarket on your left, followed immediately by the post office. Then make a left - and the rest is just as described above!
